July 31, 2014: Omri Tal, 22, was killed by a Palestinian shell fired from the Gaza Strip, four other soldiers were also killed when the shell struck a military base along the border with Gaza. He was a Sgt. 1st class of the Israeli military. Omri was from Yehud, in Central District. Source: Haaretz
